DC Launches New Website for Silicon Valley Film Festival.

November 1, 2007 — Berkeley, CA — Decision Counsel has announced the launch of a new Website for Cinequest. Cinequest, a nonprofit institute, produces Cinequest Film Festival, held each year in San Jose, California. The eighteenth festival will take place Wednesday February 27, 2008 through Sunday, March 9, 2008. The twelve day festival will showcase 250 screenings, 80 plus films, with 40 U.S., North American, and World Premieres. Cinequest will also be holding world-renowned Filmmaking and Technology Forums featuring over 500 artists and innovators. Cinequest’s uniqueness and impact results from being ahead of the curve by discovering new filmmakers and showcasing new technology. Cinequest is a celebration of Maverick filmmaking and a laboratory of new ideas, all rolled into one.

The Decision Counsel team, led by Senior Art Director Randy Rocchi, created a dynamic, dramatic site showcasing the film festival and current Cinequest events. On the website homepage visitors can watch previews of current releases, download films, or purchase DVDs directly from the site. Using vivid and striking colors and imagery, Decision Counsel has produced a visually impactful showcase for Cinequest’s unique film festival. Amelia Cerezo, Conference and Events Manager, said of the newly designed site, “Decision Counsel did an excellent job of conveying our vision of discovering independent voices and reinventing the very definition of film discovery and distribution. Our new website and marketing program has the visual impact we were looking for and we believe it will aid in raising awareness of and increasing attendance at our Festival.”
