January 30, 2011 - Berkeley, Ca - In accordance with the Builder Concept Home 2011 ideal of 'having it all', Decision Counsel is excited to launch for the 2nd year in a row a virtual home which really does have it all. This debut coincides with the start of the International Builders Show. Launching "Greenhouse" marks the 13th year of the Builder Concept Home series, which exposes housing industry professionals and consumers to progressive ideas and solutions about the community planning, demographics, technology, building science, and lifestyle. "The virtual home is all about the 'possible.' We try to create an environment where the user feels free to explore and discover," says John Moggio, Managing Director, Rich Media at Decision Counsel. This year the series focuses on green living. DC partners with KB Home, Martha Stewart, and Hanley Wood to create the virtual home, only this time with some special tweaks and upgrades.
The Decision Counsel Interactive Design Team, lead by Creative Director Chris Nelson, drove the conceptual evolution of the original 2010 concept. The virtual home this year presents a better layout and design, which makes it more intuitive and concise. Chris states, "The Builder Concept Home 2011 virtual tour builds on the success of the highly innovative 2010 Concept Home. This years' tour includes more videos, time lapse sequences, a streamlined interface, more robust fly-throughs and animations, plus retooled virtual booths that allow for more in-depth product information."
The interactive website is more than simply a virtual tour. From groundbreaking to completion, including the tour itself, green living has never looked this good.
